- “子鼎秀丽”西瓜是新疆生产建设兵团第六师农业科学研究所以298X为母本、160X为父本选育出的中熟西瓜新品种。露地栽培该品种全生育期约87 d;果实发育期29 d,生长势中等,主蔓第8~10节出现第一朵雌花,主蔓第13~15节为该品种平均坐瓜节位,果实椭圆形,果形指数1.2;果皮绿,覆墨绿色条带,平均皮厚1 cm,肉色红,质地细脆多汁,风味上乘,中心可溶性固形物含量12%;种子椭圆形,种壳底色黄色,复色褐色,易脱落,千粒质量45.5 g,平均单果质量5 kg,不裂瓜,耐储运,适合新疆早春露地栽培。
- Abstract:
- ‘Ziding Xiuli’ is a new mid ripening variety watermelon developed by Institute of Agricultural Research 6th Branch of XPCG,the 298X as the female,the 160X as male hybridization breeding of watermelon varieties.It can be harvested about 87 days after sowing.Fruit development period is 29 days,has medium growth potential.The first female flower appears in the node which belongs to 8th to 10th of the main vine,and the average fruit setting position is usually in the node which belongs to 13th to 15th of the main vine.The fruit is oval,and the fruit type index is 1.2.The peel is green,covered with dark green strips,and the average thick skin is 1 cm.The flesh is red,crisp and juicy texture,excellent flavor,the soluble solids content in the center is about 12%.The seeds are oval,yellow and brown color shell,easy to fall off,and thousand seed weight is 45.5 g.The average single fruit weight is 5 kg,it does not crack melons,is resistant to storage and transportation and is suitable for early spring and open field cultivation in Xinjiang.
