Abstract:
Taking ‘Dasusheng’ lettuce as test materials,the effects of spraying Fe2+?on lettuce seedlings were studied using matrix cultivation.The results showed that it had no effect on plant height when the concentration was lower than 60 mg/L,and it inhibited the growth as the concentration was up to 60 mg/L.Lettuce had more leaves when the concentration was lower than 45 mg/L,and it showed restriction effect under 60 mg/L.Fe2+had no significant influences on contents of chlorophyll a and total chlorophyll,but it increased the chlorophyll b content when the Fe2+concentration was 15 mg/L.The chlorophyll b content under the treatment of 15 mg/L Fe2+was about 164% of the control.The soluble protein content was the highest when praying with 60 mg/L Fe2+Fe2+did not influence the content of soluble sugar,however it decreased the content of proline (Pro) and the activity of peroxidase (POD),the higher concentration,the lower Pro content and POD activity,respectively.
