Abstract:
In order to study the effects of external methyl jasmonate on the plant morphology and physiological characteristics of Andrographis paniculata under salt stress,the Andrographis paniculata from Zhangpu,Fujian Province was used as research material,which was treated with 150 mmol?L-1 NaCl for 10 days using the pot experiment,and the leaves were sprayed with 2.5 mmol?L-1 methyl jasmonate.The results showed that the height of Andrographis paniculate was decreased and the growth of leaf length and leaf width were inhibited under salt stress.The activities of SOD,CAT and the contents of ASA,soluble sugar and proline were increased,but the content of soluble protein was decreased.After spraying methyl jasmonate,the damage to the leaves of Andrographis paniculate was significantly reduced in salt stress environment,and external application of methyl jasmonate could alleviate the response of physiological indexes under salt stress.Therefore,external application of methyl jasmonate could improve the salt tolerance of Andrographis paniculate.
