Abstract:
14 species and 2 natural hybrids of the Pleione were used as experimental materials.Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) were used to construct a comprehensive evaluation system of Pleione with 19 indicators.Then,the 16 candidates were evaluated by using the system so as to choose the proper species for future breeding and widespread usage.The results indicated that among the 19 indicators,the weight of flowering duration,floral fragrance and flower diameter were the highest ones,which were the most important index affecting the ornamental value of Pleione.Among the 14 species and 2 natural hybrids of Pleione evaulated,the high ornamental value plants were P.chunii (4.110),P.formosana (4.010),P.albiflora (3.915) and P.bulbocodioides (3.723).These species of high ornamental value,high resistance,and were worthy of wide marking and using.
