Abstract:
The effects of different LED light treatment on exopolysaccharide synthesis in the liquid fermentation of Ganoderma lucidum were studied. The biomass and the yield of exopolysaccharide were determined by dry weight method and phenol-sulfuric acid method, respectively. The results showed that under the condition of light treatment for 12 hours with intensity of 80 μmol·m-2·s-1,different LED light treatments could promote cell growth and exopolysaccharide synthesis.White LED light was most conducive to cell growth and blue LED light was best for the synthesis of exopolysaccharides.Taking into account the biomass and the yield of exopolysaccharide, blue LED light treatment for 10 hours with intensity of 100 μmol·m-2·s-1 had the best effect, the biomass and the yield of exopolysaccharide was 15.16 g·L-1 and 3.102 g·L-1,respectively,which was 45.91% and 109.74% higher than those of dark treatment.Light has a regulatory effect on cell growth and exopolysaccharide synthesis, which provided theoretical guidance for efficient production of Ganoderma lucidum exopolysaccharide.
