Abstract:
Pleurotus ostreatus was taken as test material,the effect of white LED irradiation on postharvest storage quality of Pleurotus ostreatus was investigated.The results showed that white LED irradiation effectively inhibited the decrease of sensory quality,loss color,browning of Pleurotus ostreatus.The increase of weight loss and malondialdehyde (MDA) content were delayed,the degradation of total phenolics was suppressed.The activity of polyphenol oxidase (PPO) was inhibited which relaxed the enzymatic browning.The decline of catalase (CAT) activity was also suppressed,which relaxed the damage by excessive H2O2.The white LED irradiation effectively maintained the storage quality of Pleurotus ostreatus,and the light intensity was 22 μmol?m-2?s-1.
