Abstract:
Brown blotch disease,a serious mushroom disease,is usually caused by the bacterial pathogens of Pseudomonas tolaasii.In this study,the influence of four different P.tolaasii strains on the mycelium and fruit body growth of Pleurotus ostreatus CCEF-99 were tested to screen strains with strong pathogenicity and to provide backup strains for identifying resistance of mushroom varieties.The results showed that,the strain JCM21583 had the strongest pathogenic effect and could be used as identification strain to test the resistance ability of P.ostreatus against brown blotch disease.
