The Innovative Design and Construction of Roof Greening in Shanghai(PDF)

Abstract:: Roof greening is regarded as an important method to increase urban green land and improve the urban ecological environment.Based on the analysis of the problems in Shanghai roof greening，it was necessary to carry out the plan of roof greening system and to make some innovations on the designing and technology.Combining with domestic and foreign existing research results and practice，two new roof green models，the roof farm and roof biological habitat，would be introduced to the public in this paper，and meanwhile two technologies，the light-modular-container and rainwater-collection-technology in green roof，would be expounded detailed，as a result，some theoretical guidance would be expected to provide for the innovation of Shanghai roof green.
