Abstract:
Based on the searching of Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED) database,the published literatures on Schisandra chinensis in the world from 2001 to October 10th in 2014 were analyzed by bibliometrics from the aspects of literature type,annual literature number,the top 10 countries,research institutes,journals and research hot spots.The results indicated that there were 695 literatures published from 2001 to October 10th in 2014.Most of them were academic papers.The outputs of literature increased year by year and reached the highest in 2013,which was about ninth of that in 2001.The 3 top prolific countries were China,Korea and America.And the China had the largest literature number of 453.The top institutions with high academic achievement were the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese academy of medical sciences.The most active journals in this field was Organic Letters.The main research hot spots were chemistry,pharmacology pharmacy and plant science.
