Abstract:
Taking 5 different varieties of safflower as materials,the seeds germination rate,the contamination rate,differentiation rate and rooting rate in the process of tissue culture and oil content and protein content in seed were studied and compared.The results showed that ‘Jihongzaoshu’ safflower had high seed germination rate and differentiation rate,especially the rooting rate compared with several other varieties was higher,so this breed was suitable as tissue culture genotype.‘Jihongzaoshu’ safflower seed had high oil content,so it was suitable for the development of a number of safflower oil products.
