Abstract:
With ‘Lijiang’ peach as material,the effect of 3 different winter pruning methods (long bearing shoot,medium bearing shoot and short bearing shoot) on the total sugar content,crude protein content,crude fat content and the growth and development of new shoot were studied and compared.The results showed that the total sugar content,crude protein content and crude fat content in branch after long bearing shoot pruning were higher than the others.The ability of the number and growth of shoots sprouted from 1 year old branch were stronger than the other two methods.The average length of new branch,the length of the longest branch and the total length of the new branches were significantly better than the other two pruning methods.It proved that winter pruning was an important management technique.
