Abstract:
Taking 9-year-old wine grape ‘Merlot’ planted on the irrigated soil as the test material,two different organic fertilizers which was made from cattle/sheep dung and carcasses and traditional chemical fertilizers were applied respectively,by measuring their effects on soil physical and chemical properties,enzyme activities,growth status,photosynthetic performance and berry quality of ‘Merlot’ grape were studied,in order to explore the effect of organic fertilizer on soil fertility of irrigated soil and fruit quality of ‘Merlot’ grape,and to provide reference for selecting fertilizer types suit for irrigated soil at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain in Ningxia.The results showed that,compared with chemical fertilizers,the two kinds of organic fertilizers could significantly improve the physical and chemical properties of irrigated soil and soil enzyme activity,and the improvement effect on the deep soil was more obvious.At the same time,they could significantly improve the photosynthetic performance of ‘Merlot’ grape leaves,promote plant growth,increase the 100-grain weight,the contents of soluble solids,total phenols and anthocyanins,reduce the contents of titratable acids and tannins,thereby improving the quality of berries.Among them,the organic fertilizer made from cattle and sheep carcasses performed better.
