Abstract:
The cotton stalk replacing cotton seed hull to used as the material to cultivate Grifola frondosa (‘Qianxi No.1’)，and the optimum formula of cultivating Grifola frondosa by using cotton stalk replacing cotton seed hull was studied by designing five different formulas and taking the mycelia growth rate，fruit body morphology，fresh mushroom yield and economic benefits as indicators.The results showed that the optimum formula of cultivating Grifola frondosa by using cotton stalk replacing cotton seed hull was 15% cotton seed hull，30% cotton seed stalk，40% chestnut sawdust，5% wheat bran，7% cotton seed powder，1% gesso，1% sugar and 1% phosphorus，and the ratio of material to water was 1∶1.5，and its mycelial growth rate was 2.4 mm?d-1，the yield per 100 bags was 42.80 kg，the input-output ratio was 1∶9.31.The experiment showed that it is feasible to cultivate Grifola frondosa by using cotton stalk replacing part of cotton seed hull and it has a broad application prospect.
