- Abstract:
- The 13 test wild strains of Pleurotus eryngii var.ferulae came from Xinjiang region of China were used as test malerials. All the test strains were identified they were the different strains by use of antagonistic experiment. The morphology and fruiting body characteristics of the strains were compared on cultivated experiment which add starw into the substrate. The results showed that strain A12 (0.863 cm·d-1) and A43 (0.856 cm·d-1) significantly colonized spawn substrate faster compared to the others.Futhermore,A43 was high yielding, biological effciency and with more desirable gronomic characteristics compared with other strains. These data making it suitable for domestication and commercial cultivation with straw.
