Abstract:
Background resources of Viola is unclear around Pingliang,there is no relevant development and utilization.The field investigation was carried out in this study.The results showed that there were the Viola philippica,V.prionantha var.prionantha,V.dissecta, V.variegata four kinds of Viola around Pingliang urban area.V.prionantha var.prionantha and V.dissecta could grow in the same square and more widely distributed.It was proposed that V.prionantha var.prionantha and V.dissecta could be used as ornamental plants in early spring in Pingliang;the medicinal plant of Viola resources that could be developed and utilized around urban areas are V.philippica and V.prionantha var. prionantha.
