- Inrecentyears，vegetationindexhasbeenconductedextensiveresearchbymanyscholars.Satelliteremotesensingisoneofthemosteffectivemeasuresofdetectingchangesintheglobalvegetationindex，whichisnotyetknown.Sofar，thereisalackofasystematicandscientificsummaryofcomprehensivevegetationindexthathasbeenusedformanyyears.Inviewofthis，thisstudysummarizedthemainvegetationindexofdifferentremotesensingdatasources.Andthetypeofvegetationindexanditsdevelopmenthistory，remotesensingdatatypeandsourceofdifferentvegetationindex，theinfluencefactorsofvegetationindexanditsapplicationweremainlydiscussed，inordertoprovideasystematicandcomprehensivereferencevalueandguidingsignificanceforresearches，improveitsuniversalityandfamiliarity.
