Abstract:
‘Jingcui No.2’ is a new fruit-type radish hybrid bred from two self incompatible lines 0105-16 and BH01-2.The hybrid can be harvested in 80-85 days after sowing.The plants are outspreading with deep-green leaves.The root shape is oval shaped.The upper skin color is green and the bottom is white.The deep-red flesh is crispy and juicy.The vitamin C content in root is 66.7 mg?(100g)-1FW,and soluble sugar content is 3.23%.The hybrid is resistant to virus and soft rot,which is suitable for the autumn growing in the north of China.The yield in open field is about 5 000 kg per 667 m2,which increased by around 10% compared to the control(‘Mantanghong’).The hybrid passed the variety identification of Beijing in 2015.
