Abstract:
Rhododendron family are an important garden plant,which are vital for ecosystem maintenance.Salt stress is one of the main factors that affect seed germination and plant growth.Response of Rhododendron floribundum to salt stress induced by NaCl was investigated in this research,in order to help for the investigation of biologic characteristics of R.floribundum,resource selection and breeding,as well as conservation,exploitation,and utilization of Rhododendron resource in the future.The results showed that seeds germination potential,germination rate,germination index,vigor index,root and shoot ratio all showed a decline trend with the increase of NaCl concentration.
