Abstract:
Withblueberriesasmaterials,effectsofdifferentripeningstages,fruitsizes,andvarietiesonstoragewerediscussed,andalsothechangesofinternalqualityatdifferentripeningstagesduringstoragewerecompared.Appropriatefruitcharacteristicsofblueberriesforstoringwerestudied.Theresultsshowedthatthebestqualityandtastewereobtainedwhenpickingatfullyblueofblueberryfruit,andthestorabilityoffullybluefruitwasalsothehighest,meanwhile,therewasnosignificantdifferenceininternalqualityofblueberriesbetweenharvestandstorage.TherewasnosignificantdifferencebetweenMandLgrade,butsignificantdifferencebetweenanyoneofthemandXLgrade.Storabilityof‘Bluecrop’wassignificantlyhigherthan‘Darrow’and‘Elliott’,anditwas14%and20%higherafter60days’storage,respectively.Pickingatfullyblueofblueberryfruit,transectdiameterlessthan18mm,andthevariety‘Bluecrop’wereselectedtoimprovethestorabilityofblueberryfruit.
