- 以‘单瓣白’木芙蓉为母本,‘蜜月’芙蓉葵为父本,通过开展种间杂交试验,成功培育出了木芙蓉新品种‘辰山红柱’。与近似品种‘单瓣红’相比,‘辰山红柱’的主花色有了显著的加深,为红色(RHS-61C);花直径为17.5 cm,增加34%;花瓣长度为8.5 cm,增加41%。与近似品种相比,花药的颜色显著加深,为金黄色;柱头颜色有显著加深,变成了紫红色;花柱长度达4.2 cm,增加35%;叶柄颜色为褐色。‘辰山红柱’花单瓣,花期6—11月,长达180 d;花量大,植株生长健壮,花大色艳,抗性强,符合新品种特性,具有较高的园林应用价值
- Abstract:
- A new variety of Hibiscus,‘Chenshan Hongzhu’,was successfully cultivated through interspecific hybridization experiments,using Hibiscus mutabilis‘Danbanbai’ as the maternal parent and Hibiscus moscheutos‘Miyue’ as the paternal parent.Compared with the similar variety ‘Danbanbai’,the main color of ‘Chenshan Hongzhu’ has significantly deepened and is red (RHS-61C);The diameter of the flower is 17.5 cm,an increase of 34%.The petal length is 8.5 cm,an increase of 41%.Compared with similar varieties,the color of the anthers is significantly darker,appearing golden yellow.The color of the column head has significantly deepened and turned purple red.The length of the style reached 4.2 cm,an increase of 35%.The petiole color is brown.The ‘Chenshan Hongzhu’ flower has a single petal and blooms from June to November,lasting up to 180 days.It has a large flower volume,robust plant growth,large and colorful flowers,strong resistance,and is in line with the characteristics of the new variety.It has high garden application value.
