- “花都瑞雪”紫荆新品种是从普通紫荆中选育出的白色花瓣的芽变植株,以巨紫荆为砧木,采用一般紫荆的芽接或枝接法进行繁殖,最终培育出白色紫荆新品种,命名为‘花都瑞雪’(Cercis chinensis ‘Huaduruixue’)。与普通紫荆相比,“花都瑞雪’”的典型特征为:枝条直立,茎节长,10余朵花簇生于枝条或老杆上,花瓣白色,花序美丽。栽培试验结果表明,“花都瑞雪”紫荆生物学性状稳定,未发现变异或返祖现象。该新品种花色洁白,树形优美,具有很好的应用和推广前景。
- Abstract:
- A white-flower mutation from ordinary Chinese redbud (Cercis chinensis Bunge) in this project was selected,and generated new plants though grafting the branch or bud of the white-flower mutation onto the giant redbuds as rootstock,then obtained a new-superior variety which was named as Cercis chinensis ‘Huadu Ruixue’.Compared with ordinary redbuds,‘Huadu Ruixue’ features:erect branch,long stem section,more than ten flowers fascicled on one branch or old pole,white petal,showy inflorescence.The results showed that the biological characteristics of ‘Huadu Ruixue’ were stable,and no atavism,reversion or other variation was found.The new variety ‘Huadu Ruixue’ is white in color,beautiful in shape and has a promising application and market expectation.
