Abstract:
Taking the parents and F1 progeny individuals of five hybrid combinations (‘Cabernet Sauvignon’בMerlot’,‘Merlot’בCabernet Sauvignon’,‘Chardonnay’בWelschriesling’,‘Chardonnay’בVidal’ and ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’בVidal’) as test materials,the fruit traits including berry skin color,single berry weight,soluble solids content,and titratable acid content were evaluated over two consecutive years.The inheritance patterns of the four traits were analyzed to provide a reference for parent selection and progeny screening in wine grape hybrid breeding.The results showed that the progeny from crosses between white cultivars were all white,while color segregation was observed in the progeny from crosses between red cultivars and between red and white cultivars.The coefficient of variation (CV) for single berry weight ranged from 15.25% to 31.49%,indicating a wide segregation,and some combinations exhibited a positive genetic tendency.Soluble solids content showed a continuous distribution,with a high proportion of individuals transgressing the lower parent value.The mean value of the F1 progeny was generally lower than the mid-parent value,and the trait exhibited an overall decreasing tendency.The CV for titratable acid content ranged from 16.11% to 32.19%.Three combinations exhibited an increasing tendency,and a significant reciprocal cross effect was observed between the two reciprocal cross combinations.
