Abstract:
The ginseng industry represented a characteristic and advantageous sector in Jilin Province,making its green and high-quality development highly significant for local environmental protection,economic advancement,and rural revitalization.Using the super-efficiency SBM model and the GML index,the green total factor productivity of ginseng in Jilin Province from 2010 to 2023 was measured from both static and dynamic perspectives,and the influencing factors were analyzed using the Tobit model.The results showed that the technical efficiency of ginseng in Jilin Province did not reach an optimal state,with low pure technical efficiency being the main limiting factor.The green total factor productivity of ginseng showed an overall fluctuating upward trend,and technical progress was the main driving force for its growth.Government agricultural support,urbanization,human capital,and ginseng planting area all exerted an impact on the green total factor productivity of ginseng.To further improve the green total factor productivity of ginseng in Jilin Province,the key was to focus on technological research and development while breaking the bottlenecks in technological transformation and improving its efficiency,as well as upgrading human capital and cultivating high-quality ginseng farmers,giving full play to the role of the government to facilitate the green and high-quality development of the ginseng industry.
