Abstract:
Strawberry is aromatic and juicy,sweet and sour,rich in nutrition,known as the queen of fruit.China is the world′s largest strawberry producer.According to the statistics of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in 2023,China′s strawberry cultivation area and total output are much higher than those of other countries.The total area and total output rank first in the world.The cultivated area is 156 300 hm2 and the total output is 4 216 700 t,accounting for 35.9% and 40.2% of the world respectively.The main producing areas,cultivation area,yield,output value,main varieties,cultivation mode,sales channels and consumption modes of strawberry in China were expounded.The current situation and existing problems of strawberry production in China were analyzed,and the development trend of strawberry production was prospected,in order to provide references for the production level of strawberry in China.
