Abstract:
‘Pufen No.500’ is a new F1 hybrid of tomato variety developed by crossing inbred line ‘JS-2-2’ as female parent and inbred line‘ZTR-1-2-2’as male parent．It is of precocity infinite growth type and early maturity.The plant has strong growth vigor.The matured fruit is pink in color and immature fruit has green shoulder．The fruit is of round shape．It is sweet and sour taste.The soluble solids content is 5.9%，lycopene content is 45.4 mg·kg-1,vitamin C content is 193 mg·kg-1．Its fruit hardness is medium，had good storage and transportation resistance.The single fruit weight is about 280 g．In the early stage，yield is 1 500 kg per 667 m2.The yield of single cropping is about 6 000 kg per 667 m2．It is resistant to TYLCV，TMV，CMV，root-knot nematode，gray leaf spot and blight disease．It is suitable for protected fields cultivation in Shanghai，Jinagsu and Zhejiang areas．
