Abstract:
‘Nandong No.1’ is a new mustard variety by systematical selection and breeding,which is derived from ‘Nanchong Dongcai’.The growth is about 120 days in open field cultivation in autumn in Sichuan area.The plant type is semi erect,the height is 48 cm,and the width is 73 cm.The leaf surface is slightly wrinkled.Its leaves are dark green in color and of obovate shape without spiny hairs.The tip of the leaf is blunt and round.No nodular protrusions in the middle rib.The effective product leaves is about 18.The weight of a single plant is 1 152 g,and the yield is 3 650 kg per 667 m2.‘Nandong No.1’ is mid resistant to downy mildew,showing susceptibility to virus diseases.It is suitable for open field production in Chengdu,Nanchong,Guangyuan and other similar ecological places in Sichuan Province in autumn.
