‘Hongjia No.52’ is a new hybrid cultivar of yellow-skinned Hami melon，which is bred with ‘BF5’ as female parent and ‘FF5’ as male parent.The plant has strong growth potential with green leaves and high temperature tolerance.The fruit is in a short elliptical shape.The weight of single fruit is about 2.0 kg.The orange flesh is tender and crispy，featuring a central soluble solids in the edible center is about 17.0%.It′s medium-maturity.The whole growth period is about 104 days,with a fruit development period of 38 days,during spring cultivation in Beihai city，Guangxi.The yield is about 200 kg per 667 m2.The cultivar is suitable for protected cultivation in early spring and autumn in Shandong，Hainan，and Guangxi Provinces，as well as other regions.It is also suitable for planting in open fields in the northwest region of China.
