Abstract:
Chitosan (CH),nano ZnO,and Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bunge.Extract (AME) were used as the experimental material for the preparation of composite coatings.Orthogonal experimental methods were used to evaluate the preservation effect of composite coatings with different mass concentration ratios on strawberries during storage,using decay rate and weight loss rate as evaluation indicators,in order to provide reference for the storage and preservation of strawberries after harvest.The results showed that the optimal composite film was 1.75% CH+0.7% nano ZnO+0.5% glycerol+0.2% AME.Compared with the CK group,the CH-nano ZnO-AME composite coating significantly reduced the decay rate and weight loss rate of strawberries during storage,delaying the decrease in firmness and soluble solid content.In addition,the CH-nano ZnO-AME composite coating was superior to other treatment groups in reducing strawberry decay rate,weight loss rate,and maintaining firmness.In summary,the composite coating treatment of CH-nano ZnO-AME had a positive effect on improving the quality of fresh strawberries.
