Abstract:
‘Yujiao No.2’ is a new variety of fresh and processing pepper variety selected by the Agriculture Company Limited of Jiayuguan Ruideer in Gansu with self-selected line ‘LJ2015’ as the female parent and self-selected line ‘XJ-1-3-6-4’ as the male parent.The plant has strong growth vigor and successive fruit setting ability．It′s fruit is of horn shape with wrinkled surface．The fruit of this variety has bright red color．The vitamin C content of the fruit is 97.90 mg?（100g）-1，soluble solid content is 4.6%，and capsaicin content is 160 mg?kg-1．The variety is high spiciness and fragrance，good quality．Average single fruit weight is 45 g，easy to dry and suitable for processing．It is suitable for open-field cultivation in early spring in Gansu Province.
