Abstract:
To get insights of the effects of melatonin on fruit quality and free amino acids of tomato,‘Fenba’ tomato leaves was sprayed with melatonin at 50,100,150,200,250 μmol·L-1 every 10 days during fruit expansion period,and then postharvest fruit quality including free amino acid were determined.In order to provide reference for improving the quality of protected vegetables.The results showed that compared with control,melatonin decreased the level of titratable acid,vitamin C and amino acid,increased the content of soluble sugar,soluble protein,lycopene,soluble solids and the ratio of sugar to acid,also changed the composition ratio of all kinds of amino acids.In summary,the application of 100-200 μmol ·L-1 exogenous melatonin had the best effect on improving the comprehensive quality of tomato fruit.
