In 2013,Yunnan Academy of Forestry and Grassland introduced 13 varieties of Juglans hopeiensis Hu walnuts from Yixian county,Hebei Province,such as ‘Sizuolou’,and planted them in Maoshan,Luquan.After six years of observation,it was found that ‘Sizuolou’ have a small yield in the second and third years of planting,and then the amount of fruit hanging increased year by year.The average single fruit weight is 21.51 g,the average three-way diameter is 40.51 mm,the cortex density is good,the fruit shell is deep,and the distribution is not large uniform,beautiful shape.On December 31,2019,it was approved by the forestry improved species examination and Approval Committee of Yunnan Province.
