Abstract:
Aiming at the problem of water resources waste in gardens and agriculture,this paper introduced a new water management method for irrigation systems.It could be applied to garden or farmland,and LoRa wireless sensor network was used instead of human intervention.The traditional irrigation system wasted 30% water on average due to improper management and configuration.This intelligent irrigation system could improve the efficiency of the irrigation process,thereby saving users not only money,but also water and electricity resources.The system could retrieve data in real time and use these data to determine the correct garden and agricultural water consumption.With this system,up to 33% water could be saved when using sensor data from temperature,humidity and soil moisture,or up to 25% when using only temperature inputs.The experimental results verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the design,which could meet the needs of water-saving irrigation in gardens and agriculture.
