‘Siji Kuaicong No.1’ is a new hybrid onion cultivar breed with the male sterile line 609A as the female parent and the inbred line 11-65-3 as the male parent.The variety is 55-65 cm in height and bears dark green leaves with a thickness of 0.8 cm.The leaves grow straight upwards with crisp,tender and juicy texture.Because of the quick-growing and high form quality,it has a high yield of over 4 000 kg per 667 m2.This cultivar provides a high level of resistance to purple blotch,downy mildew,gray mold,etc.The ideal cultivation areas are Hebei,Henan,Shandong,Tianjin,and other places.
