Abstract:
Stevia rebaudiana has become a new natural sugar source in the world because of its rich glycosides.How to improve the yield and quality was the key problem to be solved urgently in Stevia production.In this study,the international research on the application of fertilizers and hormones in Stevia production was summarized,and the progress on the growth,yield and quality of Stevia was discussed.Problems were pointed out and prospects were put forward.The results showed that urea was a most suitable form of nitrogen,suitable application of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium could significantly promote growth and increase yield,while reasonable application of nitrogen,phorphorus and potassium could significantly increase the content of glycosides;proper combination of trace elements (such as zinc,boron,manganese,molybdenum),inorganic fertilizer and organic fertilizer would achieve better fertilization effect,and microbial organic fertilizer would be the future direction of fertilization.Appropriate use of plant growth regulators,but strictly control the concentration to achieve twice the result with half the effort.
