Abstract:
Taking 31 peach varieties in Qinhuangdao area as materials.Three varieties with soft suture were screened out,‘Z1-2’ ‘Chaoyue No.2’ ‘Lyuhuajiu’,and three varieties with hard suture were screened out,‘Shuguang’,‘P2-1’and ‘Wanjiubao’,in ord to explore the factors that affect suture softening.The hardness,soluble solids content,anthocyanin content,ethylene kurtosis and ABA content of suture or fruit surface of these peach varieties were studied.The effect of early softening of suture on peach fruit quality was studied in order to enrich the physiological basis of peach suture softening.The results showed that the ethylene kurtosis and anthocyanin content in the suture were significantly higher than those in the fruit surface in soft suture varieties,while the hardness in the suture was significantly lower than that in the fruit surface.In three hard suture varieties,there were no significant differences in ethylene kurtosis,anthocyanin content and hardness in suture and fruit surface.The content of soluble solids in suture was lower than that in fruit surface in all 6 varieties,and the changes of ABA had no regularity,indicating that there was no correlation with ABA and suture softening.
