Abstract:
‘Xiyuhong No.8’ is a new processing tomato F1 hybrid developed by crossing ‘SY-1’as female parent and ‘HS9780’ as male parent.It is of early-middle maturity and limited growth type,with medium-strong growth,ordinary leaf shape,elliptic fruit,deep red flesh.The single fruit weight is 70 g with high soluble solid content about 5.0% and lycopene content over 0.15 mg·g-1.Total acid content is 3.85%,good pressure is about 8.0 kg per fruit.The variety is resistant to pressure,storage and transportation,and the red ripening period is relatively concentrated.The yield can reach over 120 t·hm-2.This variety is suitable for planting in the main producing areas of processed tomato in the north of Xinjiang.
