‘Tianwei No.1’ is a new luffa F1 hybrid developed by crossing L-19 as female parent and L-39 as male parent.It is early maturity，and plant growth is strong.It has an ability to set fruit continuously.Commercial fruit is stick-shaped，with straight strips，symmetrical head and tail，light green skin，no flower skin and shallow furrows.Fruit about 42-52 cm in length,3.1-4.1 cm in diameter，single fruit weight is 340-370 g.In addition，it has a lot of excellent features，such as good quality，good fruit setting，strong disease resistant，long shelf life and so on.It is suitable for cultivation in protected fields in spring，autumn and winter in North China.
