Abstract:
‘Qianpanhe No.3’ belongs to Juglans sigillata.It is selected in the walnut tree selection work of Panzhou walnut distribution area in Guizhou.According to the selection procedure and standard of excellent individual trees，through the strict selection procedure of visiting，preliminary selection，re-selection and final selection，after more than 10 years of screening and identification，the local walnut varieties of Guizhou with early maturity and high yield was selected.Through three-year-old survey，the average single fruit weight of ‘Qianpanhe No.3’ was 10.45 g，the average shell thickness is 0.92 mm.The kernels were light yellow and white，full and could be taken as whole kernels.The average kerneling rate was 62.96%.The crude fat content of kernels was 67.7 g?(100 g)-1 and the crude protein content was 15 g?(100g)-1.The kernels had good continuous high yield，wide adaptability and strong stress resistance.In January 2018，it was approved and named ‘Qianpanhe No.3’ by Guizhou Provincial Forest Variety Examination Committee.The improved variety number is Guizhou R-SC-JS-002-2018.
