- Abstract:
- Eggplant is one of the vegetables that has a large area of cultivation in China,and it is deeply loved by consumers.In recent years,the eggplant seed industry market had gradually matured,and provided the basis for the development of the eggplant industry in China.The breeding of new eggplant varieties occupieed an important position in the eggplant seed industry.This study focused on the eggplant industry from the evaluation and innovation of resources,yield breeding,quality breeding of eggplant research,and presented the countermeasures and outlook for the eggplant seed industry and breeding in China.That provided a certain reference value for promoting the development and breeding of eggplant seed industry in China.
