Abstract:: With 5-year-old Cotoneaster multiflorus as experimental material，the effects of different substrates，different times of collection，the type and concentration of plant growth regulators and soaking time on the rooting of green-wood cutting of Cotoneaster multiflorus were investigated using a completely random block design，so as to determine suitable conditions and methods for green-wood cutting of Cotoneaster multiflorus.The results showed that the rooting rate was the highest (38.8%) using cuttings collected in mid-June in the substrate containing field soil+organic fertilizer (4∶1).In the control group treated without plant growth regulators，the rooting rate of cuttings was 0.0%.Rooting powders (IAA，IBA，NAA and ABT1) had significant effects on the rooting of cutting of Cotoneaster multiflorus，and different growth regulators had different action times and concentrations.Among them，the rooting rate was the highest with 150 mg·L-1 ABT1 for 4 hours，reaching 58.8%，which was followed by 100 mg·L-1 NAA and IAA for 4 hours.Growth regulators at a high concentration inhibited rooting.
