- Abstract:
- A trial was carried out with potted vines of six rootstocks (‘140R’‘110R’‘1103P’‘SO4’‘5BB’ and ‘Beta’),and the vines were irrigated with a solution containing 0.6% NaCl.The effects of salt treatment on the morphological changes, growth and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of rootstock seedlings were studied in order to provide a reference for the rational use of grape rootstocks under saline-alkaline soil conditions. The results showed that compared with the control, the shoot length, leaf number and chlorophyll content of all varieties decreased in different degrees under NaCl stress. The initial fluorescence(Fo) of leaves increased and the maximum fluorescence(Fm),maximum quantum efficiency(Fv/Fm) and potential photochemical activity(Fv/Fo) decreased. The decrease amplitude of chlorophyll fluorescence parameters was ‘140R’>‘Beta’>‘1103P’>‘5BB’>‘SO4’>‘110R’,and growth rate was reduced by ‘Beta’>‘140R’>‘1103P’>‘5BB’>‘SO4’>‘110R’.In general,‘110R’ and ‘SO4’ showed a higher salt tolerance,‘5BB’ and ‘1103P’ were moderately, and‘Beta’ and ‘140R’ were more sensitive.
