Abstract:
Forty-four watermelon germplasm resources were used as materials,the resistance to Fusarium wilt and powdery mildew were studied by single and composite inoculated approaches,in order to provide the reference basis for evaluating and screening watermelon germplasm resources of disease resistant.The results showed that five watermelon germplasms with high resistance to Fusarium wilt,and two watermelon species resist to powdery mildew were screened by single inoculation identification;22 watermelon germplasm resources for two kinds of disease resistant were screened by compound inoculation at the same time.The compound inoculation tests and single appraisal results were high correlation,accurate and scientific.Therefore,compound inoculation method could replace single method,which was conducive to improve the efficiency of selection.
