Abstract:
To breed a desirable local variety of Pleurotus pulmonarius with various good agronomic traits such as high yield,good quality and high efficiency,12 typical strains of P. pulmonarius collected from different growing areas (including LD1,GY18,GY16,GY163,HZ3,HZ5,HZ Xia,HZ845,MY Gray,MY White,SM,and XY Xiu-1),were investigated in this study,and their mycelial growth rate,stress resistance,mushroom-budding,biological efficiency and fruit quality were examined by comparative trials.The results showed that the strain LD1 was a potential good variety in local area as its mycelial growth vigor was good,and mycelial growth was the fastest (0.67 cm?d-1),contamination rate was lower (1%),biological efficiency was higher (99.3%),and comprehensive characteristics of fruiting body were good.
