Abstract:
With single factor and orthogonal array design L9 (34) experiments,this study investigated the optimal process parameters for extracting flavonoids from different tissues of Zizyphus jujuba,which was sampled from the Taihang Mountains locates at south of Hebei Province,China.Meanwhile,the scavenging effects of flavonoids on DPPH? were also examined.The results showed that the extraction yield of flavonoids was 10.13% with the optimal parameters that the ethanol concentration,solid-liquid ratio,extraction time,and extraction temperature were 65%,1∶20 g?mL-1,2.5 hours,and 60 ℃ for stems;the extraction yield of flavonoids was 14.15% with the optimal parameters that the ethanol concentration,solid-liquid ratio,extraction time,and extraction temperature were 65%,1∶10 g?mL-1,2.0 hours,and 60 ℃ for roots;the extraction yield of flavonoids was 18.98% with the optimal parameters that the ethanol concentration,solid-to-liquid ratio,extraction time,and extraction temperature were 65%,1∶25 g?mL-1,3.0 hours,and 65 ℃ for leaves;the extractions from the stems,roots,and leaves of Zizyphus jujuba characterized by high antioxidant ability for scavenging the DPPH? with the scavenging ability from high to low was leaves>roots>stems.
