Abstract:
‘Shabai No.1’ melon was taken as test material,the effects of different concentration (1×109—8×109 cfu?mL-1)photosynthetic bacteria on growth of melon seedling under low temperature stress were studied by spraying-leaf method.The results showed that spraying 1×109—4×109 cfu?mL-1 PSB on leaves of melon improved the level of biochemical substance and the ability of osmotic adjustment,stimulated seedling growth under low temperature stress,and improved greatly the resistance of melon.The optimal concentration to spray on leaves of melon was 4×109 cfu?mL-1PSB,but 8.0×109 cfu?mL-1 PSB would be toxic to melon seedlings.
