Abstract:
Five introduced pepper varieties were used as materials.A comparison experiment of growth period,disease resistance,yield and output value of introduced pepper varieties was carried out to screen the suitable varieties for greenhouse in Xichang region.The results showed that varieties ‘Quanneng Guanjun’ and ‘Zhonghua Dajiao’ had the highest score for comprehensive evaluation.The 667 m2 yield of pepper was 4 233.71 kg and 3 176.42 kg,respectively,56.22% and 17.21% higher than the control.The output value increased by 100.86% and 59.07% respectively.When the pepper was ripe,it had high disease resistance and the advantages of bright green color,beautiful appearance.It was suggested that ‘Quanneng Guanjun’‘Zhonghua Dajiao’could be used as the reference of greenhouse in Xichang region.
