Abstract:
To study the status and trends of agricultural internet of things research in China,articles and patents were searched and analyzed based on CNKI (http://www.cnki.net) with the key word of ‘agricultural internet of things’.The results showed that the articles about agricultural and internet of things were published began from 2010 and grew rapidly since 2011,concluded from the searched literatures.The major part of the literatures were Periodical literature,master`s thesis and patents,and were mainly about the application of internet of things on modern agriculture,internet of things and wisdom agriculture.There were two major sources of funds and author affiliations and graduates,one were from the central government or national organizations,the other were from southern provincial governments or southern provincial organizations.In the terms of interannual variability in the literature,the journal showed significant increasing trend,master’s thesis and patent applications also were increasing trend,but the quantity of doctoral dissertation was grow slowly in these years.The patent application quantity was increased rapidly year by year,there were wide sources of the patentees and the companies took an active part in them,but for another.Software and information system research and technology application were the major parts of the activities in this area.
