Abstract:
With the readjustment of industrial structure in China,the fruit industry play an increasingly important role in the agricultural development in our country obviously.But it is a heavy water consumer,meanwhile the producing regions of quality fruit in China were mostly distributed in the hilly areas with lack of rain or mountainous regions with full of ravines,therefore it is imperative to carry water saving irrigation in modern fruit culture.The general situation of water-saving irrigation technology domestic and abroad were summarized,and this article focused on the theoretical basis of Regulated Deficit Irrigation (RDI),production mechanism and situation of application,discussed the existing problems in the research of Regulated Deficit Irrigation (RDI) and the direction of further research.
