Abstract:
aking Cymbidium faberi as material,using D.of ficinale Kimura et Migo as an external reference,flow cytometry measurements were performed when the genome size of Cymbidium faberi was estimated.The results showed that,the estimated genome size of C.faberi was (4.39±0.12)Gb,or the content of 2C DNA was about 8.98 pg.The present study described a modified method of genome size analysis by using flow cytometry in C.faberi.The data available of DNA content obtained in this study was helpful to the future genome sequencing research.
