Abstract:
Exposed to pesticides in agriculture production are harmful to farmers’ health.Based on 322 households of vegetable and apple growers investigated in seven counties in Shaanxi and Gansu provinces，the paper analysed farmers’ protective measures when they applied pesticides by binary logit model regression.The results showed that farmers’ wearing coat decreased or lessened the probability of poisoning when they applied pesticides，smoking or drinking water increased the probability of poisoning when they applied pesticides，and washing hands or taking a bath decreased the probability of poisoning.
